How to bid using Live Online

There are two main ways to buy a vehicle on Live Online:

1. You can place a bid during an auction
Simply click on the increment of your choice. Once you've clicked on an increment, your bid is taken into account instantly.

2. Alternatively you can place an automatic bid
If you want to save time or you cannot attend a Live Online auction, you can place an automatic bid.

Benefits of automatic bidding

You can decide your maximum bid before or during the auction. Thanks to our automatic bidding option, our system will bid incrementally on your behalf but never exceeds your maximum amount.

  • You can buy vehicles on Live Online, where you may not be able to logon to Live Online or attend the auction in person.
  • It is a natural extension to finding stock online, whereby you can search used stock, then "track" vehicles of interest, and now place automatic bids.
  • It gives you more flexibility, whereby you can place automatic bids on some vehicles and logon to Live Online for more active bidding on other vehicles or sales.

Required configuration

To participate our sales on Live Online, we recommend to install the following equipment on your computer:

First connection, follow the guide!

To attend BCA online sales, you must be a professional of the automotive industry and you must be registered.

When you register online, you may receive your personal login by email within 48 hours from the Customer service.
To activate your login, you have to click on the link contained in this email

  •   indicate your personal ID (surname.name)
  •  Enter a password with a minimum of 8 characters with at least 1 figure.


Answer the secret question. In case you forget your password, answer to the selected secret question. You will be able then to edit your password.
Note: After 3 unsuccessful attempts, to connect the website, your account is locked. You must then contact the Customer Service to activate it again.

Buyer fees

In France, buyer fees on Live Online are adapted to professional buyers :

  • Selling costs applied to online sales are equal to 2.6% ex-VAT of the award price including tax per vehicle, with a minimum of €440 ex-VAT (except for "€50 Opening Bid" Vehicles with a minimum of €305 ex-VAT, "Broken-down Vehicles" with a minimum of €320 ex-VAT, “Damaged Vehicles” with a minimum of €445 ex-VAT and "ELV" sales, the costs of which are fixed at €200 ex-VAT).
  • Administration charges of €50 ex-VAT per vehicle apply to vehicles for export.
